Growly Bear has made his decision.

He has searched hard inside himself. He has thought about what he wants. He has taken time to reflect.

Princess Kitty has waited. She has waited patiently. She has trusted Growly Bear to do the right thing.

Growly Bear has missed Princess Kitty very much. Princess Kitty has missed Growly Bear too. But both of them knew that this time was important. They knew that at the end of it they would know the point of guinea pigs for sure.

And they do.

Princess Kitty knows that the point of guinea pigs is to love someone with all your heart. Growly Bear knows that it is to follow your heart.

There are more difficult times ahead. But they will be together this time. And love will keep them safe - forever.

There is a song about Princess Kitty and Growly Bear. The last two lines are missing. There are two endings. I will tell you when I know which one finishes the song.

Crossroads

Today Growly Bear and Princess Kitty said goodbye. It is time for them to learn their lessons.

Growly Bear needs to learn who he is. He needs to learn if he wants to lead a more spiritual life or if he will stand by his responsibilities. He needs to learn if he wants to live a life where he is seen for who he is and the potential he has or a life where he lives as others expect him to. He needs to learn if he can live without Princess Kitty. And he needs to find a way to live with himself whatever he decides.

Princess Kitty will learn if love really does conquer all or if life is all about compromise like Growly Bear sometimes says. She will learn if dreams really do come true. And she will learn about life without Growly Bear.

It is the saddest of days. That little cat and that little bear are starting the next part of their journey to find the point of guinea pigs. They need some peace to do that. We are going to leave them to travel the next bit of their journey alone.

Goodbye Princess Kitty. Goodbye Growly Bear. May your love take care of you both.

The Last Supper

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear are together tonight. Growly Bear came to The Beehive.

Princess Kitty made Growly Bear a nice tea. Then they talked about how things were to be. They talked about their search for the point of guinea bigs. And then they made honey. For hours and hours. The sweetest honey ever.

Growly Bear talked about how difficult Princess Kitty can be and how wonderful. Princess Kitty was strict with Growly Bear and told him how much she loves him.

They fell asleep together cuddled up. Perhaps for the last time.

Preparing For The Big Day

Princess Kitty has been working on her floor again. And she has finished. Well done Princess Kitty.

Growly Bear has been visiting friends with the bear he lives with. He feels a long way from Princess Kitty. Princess Kitty feels a long way from Growly Bear too.

They are both thinking about tomorrow. Tomorrow is going to be the last time they see each other for a little while. Maybe for ever.

Growly Bear needs time to think and make decisions. Princess Kitty needs to give him the space to do that. It is the only way they will find out the point of guinea pigs.

They are each thinking how hard the time apart will be. They are each telling themselves they need to be strong. They are each reminding themselves how much they love each other.

Mixed Up Bear

Growly Bear has been to another wedding. Or rather the party in the evening.

He went with the Bear he lives with. They saw lots of old friends and some new ones.

Everyone likes the Bear that Growly Bear lives with. She is kind and clever and funny. And when someone said something bad about Growly Bear she put a spell on them.

Princess Kitty has had a busy day too. She met her girl kitten in town for coffee. And she has been laying the floor at The Beehive. Busy little cat.

Growly Bear liked being out with the bear he lives with. He wished Princess Kitty had been with him too. That poor mixed up bear. He really can't see the point of guinea pigs at the moment.

Sleep Tight

Princess Kitty is getting ready. Ready for a difficult job. She is going to lay a floor at The Beehive this weekend.

She has gathered the things to build the new floor. She has got the tools to build the new floor. Now all she has to do is build it.

Growly Bear has had a long week. Life is hard in the Fatty Flatfoot empire. He has a lot on his mind. And he is not sleeping very well.

Princess Kitty is not sleeping very well either. She keeps having nightmares. When she wakes up she has to remember the point of guinea pigs to stop herself feeling scared. Poor Princess Kitty.

Cats and bears need their sleep. They have busy lives. I hope they sleep well tonight.

Run Little Bear

Growly Bear has had a strange day.

It was a special day in the Fatty Flatfoot empire. Fatty Flatfoot had arranged some celebrations so that everyone could pretend they are happy. She gathered all the slaves together and made them play games and pretend to laugh out loud.

Poor Growly Bear. He joined in and pretended to smile. But he knew he would not find the point of guinea pigs there. And inside he was wishing Princess Kitty could come and secretly rescue him.

Princess Kitty thought about Growly Bear . She thought about a spell to rescue him. But she quite liked the thought of Growly Bear having to run about and look happy. So she just giggled.

It's A Funny Old World

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty had a good chat today.

Growly Bear has been thinking a lot about what Princess Kitty said and how their time apart might be. Princess Kitty and Growly Bear agree that they are going to meet next week to talk about this time.

Princess Kitty is pleased that Growly Bear has been thinking. She is pleased that he thought her idea was good. She is glad they both agree that finding the point of guinea pigs is the most important thing.

Princess Kitty lies in bed and thinks about how strange her new world is. She thinks about how her journey has been so far. She thinks about how lucky she is to have nice friends. She thinks about how much she loves Growly Bear.

Princess Kitty cuddles up to Daisy the Cat and falls asleep.

Be Brave Little Bear

It is Princess Kitty's Daddy's birthday today. Princess Kitty has been to see him. She took him a present and a card.

Growly Bear has been doing more thinking. He is still feeling scared. He is feeling scared that Princess Kitty might one day be angry with him and reject him. He is feeling scared that he will be lonely. Poor little bear.

Princess Kitty knows she will never be angry with Growly Bear. Not really angry. Sometimes he makes her a bit cross. Like sometimes she makes him a bit cross. It's part of the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty spent the rest of her evening with some friends. They are planning a special event. Princess Kitty has some jobs to do that will keep her busy for a while.

Growly Bear has lots to do too. He is busy at work in the Fatty Flatfoot empire. And all the time he is thinking about how things will be.

Be brave little bear. This will be OK.

Hold On Tight

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have both been to work today. They have both been thinking about yesterday. They have both been thinking about what lies ahead.

Princess Kitty wonders how Growly Bear is feeling. She wonders what he will say. She wonders what he will do. She knows she needs to spend time thinking about the point of guinea pigs too.

Growly Bear knows Princess Kitty loves him. He knows she is right about making decisions. He knows he needs time to think about the point of guinea pigs.

Growly Bear is frightened too. He is frightened of what lies ahead. He is frightened because whatever decision he makes it will be difficult. And he is frightened at the thought of not seeing Princess Kitty for a while. Poor Growly Bear.

Princess Kitty will miss Growly Bear too. She is going to keep some of his special things to help her stay strong and not be sad.

Hold on tight little creatures. There is a bumpy ride ahead.

Heart To Heart

Growly Bear came to visit Princess Kitty at The Beehive today.

Princess Kitty decided it was time that she and Growly Bear had a heart to heart. She decided it was time to help Growly Bear move on from being stuck. And she decided that it was time she tried to find a way of not feeling so lost.

Princess Kitty told Growly Bear what she was thinking and feeling. She said she thought they should not see or talk to each other for a little while so that Growly Bear could really think about the point of guinea pigs.

Growly Bear looked a bit upset. But then he said he would think about what Princess Kitty had said.

They agreed they would meet again once more soon.

Difficult times for a little cat and a little bear.

Special Friends

Princess Kitty had a nice evening after all last night. As she always does with her friend Chuckles. They laughed and shared their sadnesses. They spent time with Princess Kitty's new neighbour and sang and talked and drank wine.

This morning Princess Kitty went into town with Chuckles. They went shopping. They brought nice things to eat for when Princess Kitty's daughter came for lunch. And in the evening two of Princess Kitty's other special friends came for dinner.

Lucky Princess Kitty to have such special friends.

Growly Bear was thinking about Princess Kitty today. He was glad that she was having a nice time with her friends. Growly Bear knows friends are important too. You have to know that to understand the point of Guinea Pigs.

Putting On A Brave Face

Princess Kitty is feeling weary. She has not been sleeping very well and she feels sad inside.

Growly Bear has not been sleeping well either. He is weary too. He went to bed last night with a headache and he woke up with another this morning. But Growly Bear just kept going as Growly Bear does. And eventually his headache went.

Princess Kitty is feeling sad inside because she feels lost. She is happy to be at The Beehive and she loves her new home very much. Very much indeed. But she feels as if part of her is missing. And although she tries her best she is finding it harder and harder to understand the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty has her friend Chuckles coming over for the evening. She is cooking a meal for him tonight. She knows she will have to be brave and put a smile on her face. But inside she will still be crying.

Growly Bear is on his way back to his cave. He has his girl cub coming for tea so he is going to cook for her. He will be putting on a brave face to get through his evening.

What a sorry state of affairs

Getting On With It

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have both been hard at work today.

Growly Bear has had his little wet nose pushed against the grindstone of Fatty Flatfoot slavery. Princess Kitty has had her first day back after a few days off to move house.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have both been dealing with problems today. Other people's problems. They have been trying to help other people get along but it is not always easy. Not easy at all.

Princess Kitty wonders if some people forget why they go to work. She thinks that they forget they are there to help other people. She gets cross when they spend time making problems rather than just getting on with their jobs

Growly Bear feels the same way. He knows that when groups of people get together there are bound to be problems sometimes. Like when you get a group of guinea pigs together. But like Princess Kitty he wishes they would just do what they are supposed to.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear are tired now after their busy days. Growly Bear is at his cave. Princess Kitty is in The Beehive. They are going to talk later on MSN. Then they will each go off to their little beds to sleep. Ready for another busy day tomorrow.

Its A Hard Knock Life

Growly Bear has been visiting The Beehive today.

He came in a different car today. He brought Princess Kitty a table and chairs for The Beehive.

Growly Bear does not like driving the different car. He says it is like driving a truck. Princess Kitty thinks it is nice of him to go to so much trouble. Kind Growly Bear.

Growly Bear could not stay long as he had to go to work. He and Princess Kitty made some wonderful honey then Princess Kitty made them a nice lunch.

After Growly Bear had gone Princess Kitty had a snooze. When she woke up she could feel the sadness of Growly Bear leaving. She could feel how much she missed him.

Princess Kitty finds it hard to carry around such a heavy heart sometimes. She tells herself that finding a way to cope with sad feelings is part of understanding the point of guinea pigs. She reminds herself that Growly Bear has to deal with sad feelings too.

Sometimes it is hard to be a bear and a cat.

Wakey Wakey Princess Kitty

Princess Kitty has been doing some more painting today. She has been making The Beehive nice because Growly Bear is coming to visit tomorrow.

Growly Bear says his head is like putty. Princess Kitty wonders if it is really soft inside. She wonders if it really has that nice smell like real putty.

Princess Kitty is quite tired this evening. She has worked hard. And she has not been sleeping very well. Not because she has been worrying, although she is worried about Growly Bear. Not because there is lots of noise, because The Beehive is very quiet. Not because she has been wondering about the point of guinea pigs, although she does think about that quite often.

No Princess Kitty is tired because Daisy the Cat has been keeping her awake.

Daisy the Cat likes cuddles. She likes them a lot. She creeps into Princess Kitty's bed and snuggles up to her. She wants Princess Kitty to play with her, even when Princess Kitty is asleep.

Princess Kitty is going to teach Daisy the Cat to use a special little door. Then she can go out to play with some other Cats. Maybe then Princess Kitty will get a good night's sleep.

Diving In

Growly Bear has been working in the Fatty Flatfoot empire today.

On the way home he chatted to Princess Kitty on his little Nokia. He told her that today had been slavery at its worst. He told her that on days such as today it was hard to see the point of guinea pigs.

And being a slave in Fatty Flatfoot's empire is not the only problem Growly Bear has. He is unhappy. Unhappy inside.

He wants to be with Princess Kitty. He wants to go and live with her at The Beehive. But he lives with another bear who relies on him. He doesn't want to make her sad. And he doesn't think other bears in his life will understand about his love for Princess Kitty. He thinks they will be cross with him. Poor Growly Bear.

Princess Kitty feels sad for Growly Bear. She understands that it is hard for him. She understands that he is scared. Like when you are on the top diving board at the swimming pool. You want to jump but you just can't.

Princess Kitty doesn't know how Growly Bear is going to get over his problem. She doesn't know how he will find the courage to jump. Maybe he will just have to close his eyes, step over the edge and trust he will land safely.

The Beehive

Princess Kitty has had another busy day. She has painted her kitchen window. She has done some gardening. And she has been getting to know her new neighbours.

Growly Bear is back at his cave. He has been mowing lawns and shopping.

Growly Bear has been missing Princess Kitty and Princess Kitty has been missing Growly Bear. Growly Bear wants to see all the things Princess Kitty has done at her new home. And he wants to meet Daisy the Cat.

Princess Kitty has been thinking about her new home. She wants a name for it. A name that only she and Growly Bear know. A name that will help explain the point of guinea pigs. A name that will make Growly Bear want to come and stay.

Then Princess Kitty had an idea. She is going to call her new home something that reminds her and Growly Bear about making their special honey. A home that will remind them of the busy things she has been doing.

Princess Kitty is going to call her new home The Beehive.

Daisy The Cat

Growly Bear has been to a show. Not the sort of show where people perform. Not a circus either.
A show where you can buy things.

Growly Bear was looking for some slippers. He wants some special slippers to wear in Princess Kitty's new home. She is going to get some new carpets. Growly Bear does not want to make Princess Kitty cross with him. He is a little bit scared of making her cross. He thinks about it sometimes. In his awake dreams. He would like her to be strict with him and a little bit cross. But not very cross.

Princess Kitty has had a nice day too. Her mummy and daddy came to see her new house. They liked it. Then Princess Kitty's girl kitten came to see it. She liked it too. She brought Daisy the Cat with her .

Daisy the Cat was frightened. She did not know where she was. She hid behind the settee.

Princess Kitty gave Daisy the Cat lots of cuddles. She took her to bed with her so that she would not be scared. She talked to her about the point of guinea pigs. She told her all about Growly Bear.

Daisy the Cat sniffed around the bedroom. Then she snuggled up next to Princess Kitty and they went to sleep. Growly Bear lay awake a little bit longer and had some more dreams.

Merry Christmas Princess Kitty

Growly Bear left Princess Kitty's new home today. He is going to see his mummy.

Princess Kitty kept herself busy so that she would not miss Growly Bear too much. She went running with some of her friends. They had a Christmas Party afterwards. Father Christmas came and brought them all presents.

When Princess Kitty told Growly Bear about the Christmas Party he shook his head. He thinks Princess Kitty and her friends are a little strange. He likes to think of Princess Kitty enjoying herself though. He wonders what Father Christmas brought her. He wonders if it will help her understand the point of guinea pigs.

When it was time for Princess Kitty to go to bed she was tired. She curled up in her little bed and closed her eyes. She thought about Growly Bear. The next thing she knew she was in the land of dreams with him.

Psycho Bear

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have been to Ikea.

Growly Bear has bought Princess Kitty lots of things for her new home. Glasses and lamps. Throws and snuggle blankets. Light bulbs and tables.

Princess Kitty's favourite things are an orange washing up brush and a lampshade with pretty beads.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty like shopping together. Growly Bear likes watching what Princess Kitty chooses. It helps them understand the point of guinea pigs.

Sometimes Growly Bear really likes the things Princess Kitty chooses. Sometimes he is not sure. And sometimes he is horrified.

Growly Bear says when Princess Kitty chooses something he doesn't like he hears a noise in his head like the Psycho film. A sort of screeching noise. Princess Kitty wonders if Growly Bear should see a doctor.

How To Make Sweet Honey

Growly Bear has been at work today. He has been teaching bad bears how to be better. He has been teaching them about the point of guinea pigs.

He talked to the bad bears about making honey. He explained how important it is to have good ingredients. He told them that honey made in the wrong way always tastes sour.

Talking to the bad bears made Growly Bear think about how he and Princess Kitty make honey together. It made him realise how special they honey they make is. The best he has ever made.

Princess Kitty likes making honey with Growly Bear too. She likes the sweet taste. She loves their secret recipes that no-one else knows about. And she knows that what makes their honey so special is magic.

Whose Turn To Choose?

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have done lots of things today.

First Princess Kitty made Growly Bear a cup of tea in bed. Then Princess Kitty had to go to the doctors. She has a little lump on her leg. The doctor gave her some cream to rub into it to make it better.

Then Princess Kitty and Growly Bear went shopping. Princess Kitty said she would buy Growly Bear lunch and he could choose where they would eat.

In her head Princess Kitty hoped Growly Bear would choose her favourite cafe. It sells nice salads and delicious puddings. Princess Kitty thinks the point of guinea pigs might be found in such a place.

But Growly Bear chose somewhere different. He found a cafe which sold tea in mugs and where all the food came with chips. Growly Bear was very excited. It was just the sort of place he likes to eat.

Princess Kitty looked around carefully. She hoped nobody that she knows would see her. She hoped her mummy would never find out she had eaten in such a place.

Growly Bear ate all his food up. He said it was delicious. He promised to bring Princess Kitty again.

Princess Kitty smiled and said thank you. Inside her head she decided it would be her turn to choose next time.

Surprises

Princess Kitty has been working hard cleaning up her new little house again today. She has cleaned the bathroom. She has vacuumed the carpets. She has emptied all the boxes.

Growly Bear is staying at Princess Kitty's new home again for a few days. When he arrived he was very surprised at all Princess Kitty had done. Very surprised indeed.

He went into every room. He looked in all the cupboards. He saw how clean the bathroom is now. He saw how sparkling the kitchen has become. He says Princess Kitty is making it into a lovely new home. He says it is part of the point of guinea pigs.

And Growly Bear had a surprise for Princess Kitty too. A microwave that can grill and bake. It is very shiny. Princess Kitty thinks it will look fine in her new kitchen. Very fine indeed.

Fusspot Bear

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have both been visiting people today.

Princess Kitty visited her step girl kitten and grandkittens. Her little boy grandkitten made her laugh. Her little girl grandkitten was sweet. Princess Kitty gave her lots of cuddles.

Growly Bear has been visiting the sister of the bear that he lives with. He likes the sister and her partner and their children. But he does not like the food they serve.

Growly Bear is quite fussy about food. Princess Kitty finds it difficult to work out sometimes.

For example, he insists on buying the finest ingredients when he is cooking. The juiciest, tastiest tomatoes. The softest avocados. The best watercress. But when he goes out to eat he likes nothing better than to have sausage egg and chips in a cafe.

Princess Kitty wonders if guinea pigs are so fussy. Growly Bear says he is sure they know what they like and only eat that. Princess Kitty thinks she might find out.

Scour, Scrape And Scrub

Princess Kitty has been cleaning. She has been cleaning her new kitchen.

She has scoured and scraped. She has washed walls and ceilings. She has scrubbed floors. She has polished tiles.

At the end of the day she looks around. Her new kitchen is gleaming.

She thinks Growly Bear is going to like cooking in this kitchen. She thinks he is going to be surprised when he sees how clean and shiny she has made it.

And Princess Kitty has another surprise for Growly Bear. She is going to have a lodger.

Daisy is coming to live with Princess Kitty. Daisy is a Cat. Daisy used to live with Princess Kitty at her big house. And now she is going to live with her in her new home.

Growly Bear was very excited when Princess Kitty told him about Daisy. Growly Bear likes Cats. And Cats like Growly Bear. Like guinea pigs they bring fun and love into a home.

Princess Kitty is going to work hard to make her new home just right for when Daisy arrives.

Dusters At Dawn

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have been working hard again.

Growly Bear is feeling stiff. He doesn't think he is a bear who should be lifting heavy things. He thinks he is a bear who should be able to schmooze. But he doesn't really mind. He likes to help Princess Kitty.

Princess Kitty is a bit stiff too. She is thinking about how much work she has to do. Her new home is not very clean. All her things are in boxes. She has a busy few days ahead of her.

Growly Bear has gone back to his cave now for the weekend. He felt sad to leave Princess Kitty. He wondered if she would be alright on her own in her new little home. And he has promised to talk to Princess Kitty about the point of guinea pigs next time they meet. He will need to think about what he is going to say.

In the meantime Princess Kitty is getting read to start work. She is getting her dusters ready. She wants to surprise Growly Bear when he comes to visit next time. She hopes Growly Bear will say "Goodness Princess Kitty. Your home is spic and span. Just the ticket".

Fish, Chips and Champagne

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear are sitting on either side of the fireplace in Princess Kitty's new home. They are eating fish and chips out of the paper and drinking champagne. Just like they planned.

It has been a busy day full of adventures. They packed all Princess Kitty's things into a little van and trailer that she borrowed. Then they got a call to say Princess Kitty to go into her new home.

They looked around The Cardigan. It was clean and empty. Ready for the next people to live in.

Princess Kitty hopes they will be as happy as she has been there. She hopes that they will feel some of the love she and Growly Bear felt there. She hopes living there will help them understand the point of guinea pigs.

On the way to the new house Princess Kitty's mattress bounced off the trailer into the road. Princess Kitty and Growly Bear giggled.

When they got to Princess Kitty's new home they took all her things in. Growly Bear and Princess Kitty lifted sofas. They carried wardrobes. They pushed fridges.

What a tiring day. I think those little creatures will sleep well tonight!

Goodbye To The Cardigan

Tomorrow is the big day.

Tomorrow Princess Kitty leaves The Cardigan forever. She is excited about her new adventure. But she is sad too. The Cardigan has been a special place for her. It has been her first home on her own. It has been the place where her love for Growly Bear has grown. It has seen tears and laughter. It has seen passion and pleasure. And it has been a place to think about the point of guinea pigs.

Growly Bear is at The Cardigan tonight ready to help Princess Kitty move tomorrow. He is feeling a bit sad too. He has grown to love The Cardigan. He has loved coming to visit. He has loved playing music and playing tricks there. And he has enjoyed making special honey with Princess Kitty.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear cuddle up. They are ready for the next part of their adventure.

Wise Old Bear

Princess Kitty is shattered.

She feels as if she is running on empty. The Cardigan is full of boxes. She is very busy at work trying to get everything done before she has a break. And she is washed out after her cold. Poor Princess Kitty.

Growly Bear understands. He understands that she is tired. He understands that she feels a bit adrift. He understands that she is feeling a bit scared about leaving The Cardigan for her own home.

He knows too that everything will be OK. He knows that he will be there to help Princess Kitty move and look after her. He knows that there will be things to learn about the point of guinea pigs.

But best of all Growly Bear knows they will eat fish and chips on the night Princess Kitty moves.

One Sweet Bear

GrowlyBear is the sweetest bear in the world. So Princess Kitty thinks.

Princess Kitty is dashing about. She is busy at work. She is busy packing everything into boxes at The Cardigan.

It is Princess Kitty's mummy's birthday on Wednesday. She has been worrying when she will find time to buy her a present.

So Growly Bear went into town today. He went into a shop and bought some nice things for Princess Kitty to give to her mummy. Some pyjamas, a nice dressing gown, some slippers and some socks. Kind Growly Bear.

Princess Kitty finds it hard to get used to some of Growly Bear's ways. She is not used to bears who can shop. She is not used to bears who are so thoughtful and kind. She wants to give him a great big kiss. She wants to tell him that he is helping her understand the point of guinea pigs.

That really is one sweet bear.

Ups And Downs

Princess Kitty is ugly.

Or at least she if feeling very ugly today. She has a big cold sore on her top lip. Just under her whiskers. Poor Princess Kitty.

Growly Bear has been trying to fix things today. He has been trying to fix the dishwasher at his cave.

Usually Growly Bear is good at fixing things. But today he just could not fix the dishwasher. 8 hours of hard working. Poor Growly Bear.

Life for cats and bears can be up and down. Just like it is for guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear hope there will be some more up again soon.

But The Greatest Of These Is Love

Growly Bear has been to a wedding today.

He left The Cardigan early to go back to his cave. He put on his smart little cream suit. The wedding was of a friend of his, Whirly Shirly. She is in love. Growly Bear is very happy for her.

During the service Growly Bear felt moved. He sang the hymns. He listened carefully to the readings. He thought about Princess Kitty. He thought about how much he loves her. He knew that the point of guinea pigs is being with the one you love. As he sang Jerusalem, Growly Bear had tears running down his furry little cheeks. Poor Growly Bear.

Princess Kitty was thinking about Growly Bear. She knew today might be difficult for him. She understands how difficult things are for him. She understands that he is frightened. She understands that he is unhappy. She understands that all she can do to help is stay strong, be patient and keep loving him.

On The Road

Growly Bear is staying that The Cardigan tonight.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have been out walking together. Princess Kitty took Growly Bear to a hill and they walked to the top. Growly Bear moaned quite a lot. He said it made him puffed out. He said he was scared he was going to get blown away because it was very windy. Princess Kitty just sniffed.

Then Princess Kitty and Growly Bear went for a drive in Growly Bear's little Skoda. They went to see the outside of Princess Kitty's new home. They drove around the area so that Growly Bear could see where Princess Kitty is going to live.

They went up hills. They went along windy roads. They went past pubs and churchyards. They even visited a colony for some people searching for the point of guinea pigs.

When they got home Growly Bear made Princess Kitty some nice tea. Her cold was much better after their walk. They watched a video together and then made some of the most beautiful, clever and complicated honey ever.

Those clever little creatures.

Kitty No Mates

Princess Kitty is a leper. No-one wants to be her friend. Even her mummy does not want to see her.

Princess Kitty has a cold. A very nasty cold indeed. Her little nose is red and running. She keeps coughing and sneezing. Her throat is sore. When she when into an office today the woman behind the counter started fanning the air to keep the germs away. Poor Princess Kitty.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty were supposed to be meeting today. But Growly Bear wants to try not to catch Princess Kitty's cold so that he can help her move to her new home next week. So they agreed not to meet.

Growly Bear says he will go back to his cave and think nice thoughts about Princess Kitty instead. He says he will chat to her later on MSN about guinea pigs and other important things.

There's No Place Like Home

Princess Kitty is not feeling much better today. She is not thinking about that this evening though. Nor is she thinking about guinea pigs. She has been to see her new home instead.

It is a few weeks since Princess Kitty saw her new home. She had forgotten what it looks like. She is very excited.

On the way home Princess Kitty cried a little bit. She cried because she was happy. She cried because she knows her new home is going to be very very special. She cried because its hers. Her own special place.

Princess Kitty is going to love her new home. And she is going to fill it with love.

Aches and Pains

Princess Kitty is not very well. She has had a sore throat for a few days.

Growly Bear says she must drink plenty and gargle with salty water. Princess Kitty thinks 'Yuk'. But she is doing it - sometimes at least.

Princess Kitty is also a bit worried. She is worried about a little lump on her leg. She has made an appointment to see the doctor to talk about it.

Growly Bear is feeling OK although he is still worrying about lots of things. He worries about Princess Kitty managing on her own. He worries especially when she is not very well.

Never mind. Growly Bear and Princess Kitty are going to have some more time together soon. They will be able to sing and eat and sleep and play and talk about guinea pigs together. And of course there will be lots of honey making.

The Thickening Web

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty chatted on their little handsfree on the way to work this morning.

Princess Kitty told Growly Bear all about her clever girl kitten and how well she had danced. The team won the dancing competition. Hooray for that girl kitten.

Growly Bear told Princess Kitty all about his boy cub. He has had some bad news. He went to America to record an album with his band. He gave up his house and everything to do it. Now he has been told there will be no money, at least not for a while. Poor Growly Bear's cub.

Growly Bear has said his cub can go and live with him for a little while. To help him out. Growly Bear is feeling a bit mixed up about this. He knows it is the right thing to do but it makes everything more complicated. It is as if there is a web of problems keeping him and Princess Kitty apart. He wonders if guinea pigs have such difficulties. He wonders if Fatty Flatfoot has put a spell on him.

Princess Kitty understands about Growly Bear's cub. She would do the same for her kittens. She would help Growly Bear's cub if she could. But Growly Bear's cub does not know about his daddy's love for Princess Kitty. So she will just have to help Growly Bear by being kind and patient. And of course telling him every day that she loves him.

Very Proud Indeed

Today has been a day for cubs and kittens.

Growly Bear has been cooking one of his legendary dishes for his cubs. A vegetarian chilli. He makes it to another of his secret recipes. Growly Bear is very proud of his secret recipes. Very proud indeed.

Princess Kitty has seen her kittens too. She went to see her girl kitten dance. She went with her mummy. Her girl kitten was spectacular. Princess Kitty felt very proud. Very proud indeed.

But although Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have had nice days they miss each other. They miss each other very much. They hope being brave at this hard time will help them understand the point of guinea pigs.

It's The Thought That Counts

Growly Bear has been surfing today. Surfing the Internet.

He has been reading about lots of things. He has been watching videos on U Tube. He has been learning about America and Britain, about funny things and sad things. About subtle things and shocking things. And of course the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty has been busy too. She had her mummy round for lunch which was very nice. She went to help at a charity event selling raffle tickets. And then she had fish and chips for tea.

When Growly Bear heard Princess Kitty had had fish and chips for tea he was surprised and a bit jealous. Growly Bear loves fish and chips. He likes eating them with his paws and getting them all greasy. He likes to eat them best when he is very hungry, especially at the seaside.

Princess Kitty says she will save Growly Bear a chip. Growly Bear is not sure if this is such a good thing as he won't be seeing Princess Kitty for a few days.

I suppose it is the thought that counts.

Calling

Princess Kitty has been at a rally today. A campaign rally.

She was there to speak to the crowd. She was a bit frightened but Growly Bear had helped her prepare. He helped her with writing her speech. He helped her with practising it. And he sent her lots of texts telling her that she would be great.

Princess Kitty might be on the television tonight. Except she won't see it because she does not have a television. It is the first thing on her shopping list when she moves house.

Growly Bear has been working hard today too. He chatted to Princess Kitty on his way home. He was very tired. So tired he told Princess Kitty he was worried he might fall asleep. Princess Kitty kept talking to him. She tried to tell him funny stories. She told him what she had learned today about the point of guinea pigs. She helped him to wake up.

Clever girl Princess Kitty. A rallying call and a wake up call all in one day.

Chain Reaction

Growly Bear text Princess Kitty today. He text her to tell her that he was chained to his desk.

Princess Kitty wondered if Growly Bear really was chained to his desk. Maybe that wicked witch Fatty Flatfoot has discovered his love for Princess Kitty. Perhaps she has decided that she needs more control over him.

Then she wonders if perhaps Growly Bear might like to be chained to his desk. She thinks about some of his awake dreams. She thinks about how he likes her to be strict.

Meanwhile Growly Bear has been busy working. He is going to stay with Princess Kitty at The Cardigan tonight. He needs to get lots of jobs done before he can leave. He has not even got time to think about the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty is looking forward to Growly Bear coming. She is preparing The Cardigan. And wondering where to attach the chain.

Acts Of Kindness

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have been trying to help others today.

Some times they help in a way that can be seen. Other times they help in secret ways. Like thinking kind thoughts.

Growly Bear has been helping bad bears be better. He is helping them to be kinder.

Princess Kitty has been thinking kind thoughts. She has been thinking about her little niece. Her little niece is struggling to understand the point of guinea pigs. She is hard to reach out to. Princess Kitty sent her a kind text. She hopes it will remind her niece that she loves her.

Being kind makes people feel loved. And being loved is important

The Power Of Love

Princess Kitty has had a long hard day. Very long and very hard indeed.

She got up at 6.10am when her alarm went off. She had a bath and washed her fur. Then she dried it and straightened it. She had a cup of tea and got dressed.

She got to the office at 7.20am. After a brief chat with Growly Bear she had her head down working all day. Reading, writing, interviewing, sending emails, having discussions and going to meetings.

After work she went to a friend's house for tea. Then she went to another meeting. She did not get home until 10.30pm. Tired little cat.

Growly Bear has had a busy day too. He has had his head down at work too.

Tonight he has been doing some research. Some research to help Princess Kitty. She has to make a speech on Friday. Growly Bear has been gathering ideas for her. He has found out things about guinea pigs. He has drafted a speech. Clever Growly Bear. And kind Growly Bear.

Things are not easy for Growly Bear. He has so much on his mind. Difficult things.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have not had much time to talk today either. They feel a long way apart even though they are thinking about each other all the time. At times like this they just have to trust in the power of love.

Web Of Love

Princess Kitty is feeling calm today. She has been able to say things to herself that keep her calm. She has done some jobs. She has had lunch with her girl kitten. And she has had nice food.

Growly Bear is feeling a bit wobbly. He is missing Princess Kitty. When he played his guitar his tears ran down his face. He was crying. Poor Growly Bear.

Growly Bear has a lot on his mind. He cares for the bear that he lives with. He would not do anything to hurt her on purpose. But he loves Princess Kitty and he wants to be with her. And he doesn't see how to do the right thing without one of those going wrong.

Princess Kitty knows she needs to stay strong for Growly Bear. She knows she will. She knows she needs to understand the point of guinea pigs so that she can help Growly Bear. She hopes she will. She knows that the needs to love Growly Bear. That will always be.

In The Moment

Today is a bit sad. Growly Bear has had to go back to his cave.

The bear that he lives with is coming back. She has been on a little holiday. Growly Bear has to go and get the cave ready. He has to go and collect her from the airport.

Growly Bear's head is buzzing. It is full of thoughts and feelings about Princess Kitty. He is thinking about how much he is going to miss her. He is thinking about how lovely it has been to spend time with her. He has been thinking about how much he wants to be with her all the time.

Princess Kitty is feeling sad too. Very sad indeed. She has a little ache in her tummy. She misses Growly Bear.

She thinks about guinea pigs. She thinks about how they live in the moment and don't worry about the future.

Princess Kitty sighs. When she thinks about her past with Growly Bear she feels joy. When she thinks about how much she loves Growly Bear and how lucky she is to have him she feels blessed. And she tries hard not to think about the future and how that might be. That way she hopes she won't worry about it.

Snuggles And Nuzzles

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have been out for the day.

They went for a little drive in Growly Bear's Skoda. Then they went shopping in a pretty little town. Then they had some lunch.

The sun was shining. Growly Bear and Princess Kitty had love in their hearts. They could not have been happier. Being together seemed to be part of the point of guinea pigs.

When they got home Princess Kitty and Growly Bear cuddled up together and watched videos. They snuggled into one another. They nuzzled each other.

Princess Kitty purred sweetly. Growly Bear just smiled.

You Are What You Eat

Growly Bear has survived. He survived his encounter with Fatty Flatfoot. And now he is at The Cardigan for the weekend.

When Growly Bear arrived, he and Princess Kitty walked to the shops to buy some tea. They tried to choose things that would be easy to cook so that they could spend more time just loving each other. They chose some fish in breadcrumbs, some chunky oven chips and some mushy peas.

But oh dear. Their tea didn't turn out at all nicely. Growly Bear said it was the worst meal he had ever cooked. He wrinkled up his little nose when he tasted the fish. He stuck out his little tongue when he tasted the chips. Only the mushy peas were OK,

Growly Bear says having bad food is the worst thing of all. Every guinea pigs knows that you are what you eat.

Preparing For The Lion's Den

Growly Bear is preparing. Preparing to do battle with Fatty Flatfoot.

He has to go to a meeting tomorrow. A meeting with the wicked witch Fatty Flatfoot. There will be other people there which should help keep him safe. And he is practising a spell to surprise Fatty Flatfoot. A spell about birdsong. A spell that needs someone who understands the point of guinea pigs to weave it.

Growly Bear wonders if Suma will be there. If she is there he will have to keep his guard up. It will be hard to keep a spell on Fatty Flatfoot without Suma seeing. And then Growly Bear would be in danger. Poor little bear.

Princess Kitty is making magic too. She is making a special spell to keep Growly Bear safe. Her magic is getting stronger all the time. She will protect Growly Bear. Lucky little bear.
