Rock Chickdom

Princess Kitty is feeling excited. She is going to borrow a guitar from a friend. A bass guitar. And an amplifier to go with it. Princess Kitty thinks this is the next step on her road to being a rock chick.

There are other things Princess Kitty is doing to prepare herself for rock chickdom. Most importantly she is growing her fur. She is having it trimmed and some colours put in it at the weekend. Growly Bear thinks a tortoiseshell look will suit her. Princess Kitty thinks this is a cool idea. She thinks tortoiseshell colours look great on little cats and guinea pigs.

Meanwhile Growly Bear is still having a difficult time at work. Just when he thinks life in the Fatty Flatfoot empire is as bad as it can get it gets worse. Now he has learned that he is going to have even more work to do without any extra money. And he has been having nightmares. And his bear flu has still not quite gone. And he is still poor.

Poor Growly Bear. Luckily he has that rock chick babe Princess Kitty to cheer him up.

Never Say Never

Princess Kitty would never buy The Sun. Never ever. Except today she did.

The reason she did is that Growly Bear suggested she did. He said he would be interested to see what she thought about the main story.

Princess Kitty had a dilemma. She wanted to see the story and talk to Growly Bear about it. But she could not bear the thought of The Sun getting 35p of her money. She considered shoplifting but decided the publicity surrounding her arrest would be too humiliating, especially if it emerged that it was a copy of The Sun she had stolen.

So Princess Kitty put the paper in her shopping basket. Then she quickly chose some other things to cover it up in case she bumped into anyone she knew. She looked around as she went through the checkout in case someone saw her.

When she got home she read the story Growly Bear was talking about. It was about some of the issues emerging from the Big Brother row. She understands why Growly Bear thought it would be of interest to her. They have been chatting about the hypocrisy of the papers in condemning people for bullying when they themselves bully and intrude on people's lives.

Then Princess Kitty found herself reading some of the other articles. She didn't manage to find any about the point of guinea pigs. But she did find one that made her laugh. It made her laugh very much indeed. It was on page 25 called "The X-ray Factor" and was about what you would see inside celebrities if you x-rayed them. One bit showed a picture of John Prescott with lots of pies in his tummy. It made Princess Kitty think about that wicked witch Fatty Flatfoot. It made her think about her love for guinea pig pies.

Maybe The Sun is not so bad after all.

Church Mouse

Growly Bear is hard up. His little wallet is empty. He has had an expensive month. First there was Christmas. Then his car went wrong. Then he had to pay for the damage that someone did to the car he borrowed whilst his was being repaired.

So Growly Bear has been economising. He has been having beans on toast sometimes. He says it is cheap and nutritious. He is being careful to buy only necessities.

Princess Kitty does not like to think of Growly Bear being poor. She offered to help him out. But Growly Bear is a proud bear. He says he can manage until his next pay day.

Princess Kitty knows that it is not nice being without money but being a bit short for a little while does make you appreciate it more. She knows that having money is not relevant to the point of guinea pigs. There are other things in life that have more value. Things like love and kindness.

Growly Bear is kind and loving. Princess Kitty loves Growly Bear. And she tries to be kind to him. She thinks this makes him a very rich bear. For a few days more though he is a poor church mouse.

Three Wishes

Growly Bear's head is not right. Neither is the rest of his body. He still has Bear Flu. Poor old bear.

Princess Kitty's head is buzzing too. She has been at work again today. She has finally finished the project she has been working on. The tasks she has had to do have been detailed and tedious. She was working alone and is feeling lonely and isolated. She wishes it was Friday night instead of Sunday night. She wishes she understood more about the point of guinea pigs. She wishes Growly Bear was at The Cardigan to cuddle her better.

Princess Kitty thinks about how Growly Bear just gets on with things when he feels miserable. He doesn't wallow in self pity. She thinks about what Growly Bear would say to her today. He would say "It is what it is".

Princess Kitty decides to go to bed. She hopes that she has a good nights sleep and that she feels better in the morning.

Bear Flu

Growly Bear has Bear Flu. Poor Growly Bear. Fortunately he is a brave little bear. Very brave indeed. He has been soldiering on like a little hero all day doing his chores. He has mended the tick- over and changed the oil on his skateboard. He bought food and cooked. Princess Kitty thought he should go to bed and take care of himself. She wished she could be there to nurse him better.

Princess Kitty is feeling tired herself. She has been working hard all day on a project for work. Now she is looking forward to going to bed. She starts thinking about guinea pigs and their beds. They make their own beds. She thinks it would be fun to make a bed.

Then Princess Kitty has a clever idea. She decides to make her own bed for fun. She looks around for something to make it. She spots just the right thing. Growly Bear's cardigan. Perfect.

Spoils Of War

Princess Kitty has claimed a trophy. A trophy from Growly Bear. She is very pleased.

Growly Bear does not even know she has the trophy. He has not missed it yet. Princess Kitty thinks capturing this trophy is a great trick.

Princess Kitty has been sniffing the trophy. She has been cuddling up to it. She has been wearing it about.

The trophy is Growly Bear's cardigan. Princess Kitty has been examining it. It is black and made of cashmere. Princess Kitty has found a little hole in it. She wonders if Growly Bear has moths.

Growly Bear's cardigan is soft and warm. It is cuddly like a soft warm guinea pig. The very best thing about it though is that is smells of Growly Bear. Delicious.

Death By Duvet

Mostly things run very smoothly between Growly Bear and Princess Kitty. Very smoothly indeed. Sometimes though there are little rubbing points. Sometimes there are times when things don't get sorted out properly. Usually this is because there are other feelings getting in the way and these all need untangling before things can be sorted out. It's a feature of the point of guinea pigs.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty had a lovely evening together. They talked. They made honey. It was the most complex, clever honey they have ever made, even though they did not have all the time in the world. They had tea.

Princess Kitty had chosen and bought the food for tea. She planned to cook cauliflower cheese, sweet potatoes, and sugar snap and mange tout peas . Growly Bear said they should cook it together. Princess Kitty prepared the vegetables. Then Growly Bear started cooking. He cooked the cauliflower. He cooked the sweet potatoes. He cooked the peas. He cooked the cheese sauce. Princess Kitty tried to tell him that she wanted to cook with him properly. But she didn't know how. The tea was lovely.

Princess Kitty felt sad and upset when Growly Bear left. She felt sad and upset because she missed him the moment she watched him drive away. She felt sad and upset when she thought about how difficult things are for Growly Bear and how much he is hurting. She felt sad and upset because she wanted to cook for Growly Bear and she hadn't been able to explain about this to him. She had feelings from earlier in the day which had been full of highs and lows.

Princess Kitty has a solution when things are bad like this. She calls it death by duvet. She just curls up under her duvet and cries and tries to get to sleep as quickly as she can so that she won't feel upset any more.

Of course deep down Princess Kitty knows this does not work. She knows she will wake up the next day with a churned up feeling in her tummy. She knows she will wake up feeling as if she hasn't been to sleep. And she knows Growly Bear will have spotted what she is up to and will worry about her. Worst of all she knows she will hate herself for not managing her feelings better.

Monkey Toes

Growly Bear knows a thing or two about paws. He knows that it is important to look after them properly. He knows that they need to be kept clean and soft to be healthy.

Growly Bear says the paws Princess Kitty walks on are shambolic. He says they are a disgrace and will let her down when she is older. He has taught her how to care for them but Princess Kitty is not very disciplined about such things. She is easily distracted by playing and singing or thinking about the point of guinea pigs.

Tonight Princess Kitty decided to pay some attention to her paws. She is seeing Growly Bear tomorrow and she thinks he might check her paws. So she had a bath and soaked her paws. Then she filed off the hard skin. Then she rubbed some lovely peppermint lotion into them.

Growly Bear says if you have healthy paws you can do Monkey Toes. Princess Kitty can't do this very well. Sometimes Growly Bear looks after her paws for her when he comes to stay. Then she can do Monkey Toes a little bit. Growly Bear can do Monkey Toes a bit too. Princess Kitty looks after Growly Bear's paws for him sometimes. He says he likes this very much. Very much indeed.

Princess Kitty thinks that grooming each other is a lovely way to be friends. She likes to comb Growly Bear's hair and tie his bow for him. She likes to wash him when he is having a bath. She hopes one day they will be able to do Monkey Toes together.

Only Tuesday

Princess Kitty is tired. It has been a long week already and it is only Tuesday. Work has been busy. She has had some late nights. She has been worrying about her daddy. She hasn't even had time to think about the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty has been to see her daddy again. He is a bit better this evening. He is being naughty too. He has taken his mobile phone into the hospital. Princess Kitty sent him some texts after she left so his phone would keep going beep. She thought this was a very good trick.

Growly Bear is missing Princess Kitty. She has seemed a long way off today. Growly Bear has already had a long week too. He has had some trouble to sort out in the Fatty Flatfoot empire. His drive to work has been long and tiring with lots of traffic on the road. The bear he lives with has been poorly so he has had to do all the chores around the cave.

Sometimes life is hard. Sometimes you just have to put your little nose to the grindstone and plod on. And it's only Tuesday.

Daddy's Girl

Princess Kitty is feeling a bit vulnerable. She has had a difficult day. She has been working very hard on an important project. She got a call from her mummy to say that her daddy had been taken into hospital in the night.

Princess Kitty wondered how her poor daddy was. She feels so sad for him. He has been poorly for about 18 months now. He has been into hospital a few times although not since September. He has been doing well for a little while but now his illness is back again. Poor Princess Kittys' daddy.

Princess Kitty had to work late but when she had finished she jumped into her little car to go to the hospital. When she tried to get out of the carpark she found the gate was locked. She tried to open the lock but it would not work. P0or Princess Kitty felt like crying. When she finally got it open she raced off the hospital and visited her daddy.

Princess Kitty loves her daddy. She sometimes feels a bit cross with him because he does not look after himself. Bu she understands that he is scared and struggling with growing older and being poorly. Princess Kitty hopes her daddy will be OK. She will say some special spells for him.

Growly Bear is thinking of Princess Kitty. He understands she is scared and worried. He wants to comfort her. He wants to help her understand the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty can feel Growly Bear's kind thoughts. She is comforted by his kindness and care for her. Sweet bear.

Slap and Trickle

Growly Bear has had a flat battery. His internal battery has been a bit low for a while. Today though it was the battery on his little skateboard. He couldn't get his skateboard to start again after he had been visiting Princess Kitty at The Cardigan. They had to borrow some jump leads from one of Princess Kitty's neighbours.

Growly Bear says when his battery is low you have to give it a good slap of volts to make it start. He says he has a special charger at home to put on it which should stop it happening again. He says it is called a Trickle Charger.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear did have a lovely time together when he visited it though. They didn't have time to talk about the point of guinea pigs but it was in their thoughts. Princess Kitty made Growly Bear some lunch. She made grilled goats cheese on crumpets and a nice salad, followed by raspberries and mango sorbet, washed down by a mini bottle of Mateus Rose.

Growly Bear said the lunch tasted nice. He said he felt looked after. He asked Princess Kitty a lot of questions. Like what was in the sorbet. Where had she got the little bottle of wine. Had she thought about her carbon footprint when she bought the out of season raspberries.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty agree that their time together today has set them up for the week. Princess Kitty thinks their love is a bit like Growly Bear's battery. It needs a trickle charge when they are apart to help keep the spark going. And it needs the occasional slap of volts to keep it going properly.

Evenly Spaced

Princess Kitty has been thinking about space. Not the kind of space where space ships go. Not the kind of space that you can see like a parking space. Nor the kind of space that the wicked witch Fatty Flatfoot leaves after she has got rid of someone with her bad magic.

The sort of space where you can be yourself. Where you can indulge your thoughts. Where you can reflect without having to worry whether you look silly with a smile on your face or frowning. Where there are no distractions and you can notice how you are feeling and comfort yourself if you need to. Where you can wonder about the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty thinks a home is somewhere that should have such a space. She also thinks home is a place where it is nice to have people around you too. Both sorts of space are equally important to be happy.

Princess Kitty wonders what Growly Bear thinks about space.

Lucky Futures

Princess Kitty is feeling very pleased. Very pleased indeed. Her girl kitten has been to visit. She brought Princess Kitty some more birthday presents. Princess Kitty was very touched by the thought that had gone into them.

Growly Bear is feeling pleased too. He and Princess Kitty have been arranging to spend some time together in a couple of weeks. He is starting to look forward to it already. He knows they will make lots of wonderful honey to their special recipes. He knows they will talk about lots of things such as music and funny stories and of course the point of guinea pigs. He knows Princess Kitty will enjoy lapping up the delicious porridge he will make her. He knows there will be tricks and surprises too.

Princess Kitty is looking forward to their time together again as well. She is looking forward to kissing and cuddling Growly Bear. She is looking forward to singing with him and playing guitars. She is looking forward to wondering about the point of guinea pigs together. And she hopes Growly Bear might make her some lovely porridge.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear are very lucky to have so much to look forward to.

Growly Bear And The Blustery Day

Today has been very windy. Very windy indeed. Some people have even died.

Princess Kitty had to go on a train. All the trains had to go slowly because it was so windy. She got blown about when she walked to her meeting from the train. All her fur got messed up. If she hadn't had a big bowl of Growly Bear's porridge yesterday she would probably have been blown away all together.

Growly Bear had to drive to work as usual. He got blown about a bit in his little Skoda. Someone died on the road he sometimes travels on.

Growly Bear did have some good news though. They have lifted the hosepipe ban in his area. He will be able to water his garden now if he wants to. What a relief for him. You never know when you might need fresh green grass for a hungry guinea pig.

The weather today reminded Growly Bear a bit of his life at the moment. He is feeling a bit blown about and out of control in some ways. It reminded him of some of the difficulties and obstacles he is facing. Like trees in the road. It reminded him of how important it is to have somewhere to shelter from the storm.

Growly Bear thinks Princess Kitty's love is like shelter from the storm. He feels safe and protected when he is in her arms. He feels invincible when he is with her. She is the anchor that stops him blowing away on a blustery day.

Getting The Stuffing Knocked Out Of You

Growly Bear says he feels as if his arm has been ripped off. He is feeling sad. The sadness you feel when you have lost something. Like your arm. Or your guinea pig.

Growly Bear had to leave The Cardigan today. He had to go to work and then back to his cave. He left The Cardigan after Princess Kitty had gone to work. She left in a rush and he tidied the flat so that it would be nice for her when she got home. He wrote her a note to tell her how much he loved her and had enjoyed his time with her. He left a message on her mirror with lipstick.

Now he feels sad that he had to leave her behind. Growly Bear is happiest when he is with Princess Kitty. He feels safe and loved. Princess Kitty and Growly Bear are soul mates.

Princess Kitty feels the same ache as Growly Bear. It is the same feeling she would have if she lost her new midget accordion or little amplifier. As if she has lost something very precious.

Princess Kitty thinks about Growly Bear and how he is feeling. She thinks about his arm. She hopes it hasn't really been ripped off. His stuffing might fall out.

Sleeping Beauty

Happy Birthday Princess Kitty. What a lovely day she has had. She has had lots of lovely cards and presents. She has been taken out to lunch by work colleagues. But absolutely best of all she had Growly Bear staying at The Cardigan.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have had an unusual evening though. Princess Kitty's brother came to visit. He was troubled. He spent a long time talking to Princess Kitty and Growly Bear. After he left it was quite late. Growly Bear and Princess Kitty were tired. They decided to go to bed and cuddle up. They did not even make any honey which was most unlike them.

Princess Kitty has been playing some tricks on Growly Bear when he was sleeping. As Growly Bear goes to sleep he starts to breathe quickly, then makes some funny noises as if he can't breath very easily then makes some gentle growling noises. Eventually he falls into a quiet, still sleep. Princess Kitty has been giving him a little poke when he starts to growl so that he wakes up a little bit and has to start all over again. Naughty Princess Kitty. Everyone knows it is wrong to tease bears.

As she watches him sleep Princess Kitty wishes she could keep Growly Bear for ever. She knows she can't though. He is not like a guinea pig. He is not a tame pet. He is a fearsome wild animal - well a little bit at least. If Princess Kitty told Growly Bear she was thinking this she knows what he would say. He would say "Growl!"

The Cat Jumped Over The Moon

Growly Bear is staying at The Cardigan for a few days. He is staying for 3 nights and he will he there for Princess Kitty's birthday.

Princess Kitty is loving having Growly Bear at The Cardigan. She loves it that he is the last person she speaks to at night and that she can cuddle up to him when he is asleep. She loves going off to work knowing that he will be there when she goes home. She can really see the point of guinea pigs. She finds that she is in good spirits all day thinking about loving him up again in the evening.

When Princess Kitty and Growly Bear got to The Cardigan they had some tea. Then Growly Bear gave Pincess Kitty her birthday presents. He said he was giving them to her early so that she could enjoy them for longer. Princess Kitty thought maybe Growly Bear couldn't wait to see her open his presents for her.

Princess Kitty cried when she opened her presents. She didn't cry because she was sad. She cried because she was happy. Very happy indeed. Growly Bear had bought her the best presents ever. He bought her a little kitty-size amplifier to plug her new guitar into. And he bought her a beautiful midget accordion. It is pink - Princess Kitty's favourite colour.

Princess Kitty did not know what to say. She can't believe how well Growly Bear has got to know and understand. He really is a clever bear. And he loves me thought Princess Kitty. She smiles to herself. Princess Kitty is over the moon.

Biting Off More Than You Can Chew

Growly Bear is trying to teach Princess Kitty to cook. Growly Bear is usually a very good teacher. He is very kind and patient. He also likes a challenge. He thinks teaching Princess Kitty to cook is a challenge. He also thinks it is important as it will help her understand the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty is keen to learn. She would like to be able to cook as well as Growly Bear. She watches carefully when he shows her how to make his special salad. She listens carefully when he explains how to make cauliflower cheese. She smells the delicious smells he makes as he is cooking and tastes the lovely meals he cooks. She works hard to prepare things just like Growly Bear.

Sometimes though things go wrong for Princess Kitty. Sometimes she gets impatient and turns the heat up to make things cook more quickly. Then the food sticks to the pan. Sometimes she gets distracted and forgets to check the food and it burns. Like her fish fingers the other night. Sometimes she misreads the recipe and ends up with potato jackets like coconut shells. Poor Princess Kitty.

Growly Bear tries very hard to be understanding about Princess Kitty's little mishaps. He offers her words of reassurance and encouragement. He does wonder to himself, though, if he really has bitten off more than he can chew this time.

A Problem Shared ......

Growly Bear has lots of problems. Poor Growly Bear.

He has problems at work. Life as a slave in the Fatty Flatfoot empire is often tough. Growly Bear has strong magic though. He understands the point of guinea pigs. Princess Kitty knows he can do what is needed.

And he has problems in his private world. He loves Princess Kitty with all his heart. He loves and cares for the bear he lives with too. And he loves Mummy Bear and his cubs too. He is trying to balance his own needs with those of everyone else. It's very difficult. There aren't any right answers - he knows he can only do his best.

Growly Bear needs to feel whole. He needs to be the person he really is and for people to see who he is. He wants to be loved for who he is.

Growly Bear knows that Princess Kitty sees who he is. He knows she loves the bear he is.

Princess Kitty knows that Growly Bear will solve his problems. As he says himself he is a great problem solver. She knows that whatever he does he will do with kindness and thoughtfulness. She knows that whatever he decides, she will always love him with all her heart.

Heads Or Tails

Princess Kitty has been wearing lots of heads today. When she first woke up she had a sleepy head on. She put her sensible head on to make herself some breakfast. At work she had her responsible head on. When she talked to Growly Bear she had her sympathetic head on because he was feeling bit down in the dumps. When she was doing her paperwork she had her concentrating head on. When she went out with her friend Poppy the Flower Fairy she had her girl head on. She had her funny head on when she talked with Poppy about Guinea Pigs. When she thought about making honey with Growly Bear she had her woman head on.

Growly Bear is feeling down in the dumps because of all the bad luck he has been having. He is fed up with his life of slavery in the Fatty Flatfoot empire. He is miserable about having to keep secret his love for Princess Kitty. He wants to feel Princess Kitty's warm breath on his neck and her arms about his body.

If Growly Bear had a tail it would definitely be hanging between his legs today.

... And Baby Bear's Was Just Right

Princess Kitty has been having an awake dream. An awake dream about Growly Bear.

It is Princess Kitty's birthday next week. Growly Bear says he has bought her two nice presents. He says one of the presents is a bit funny and a bit musical. He says it will make her laugh and she will need dedication. She wonders what it is. She is very excited. It might teach her more about guinea pigs.

The awake dream Princess Kitty has been having about Growly Bear is also about her birthday. She has an idea about a special present she would like Growly Bear to give her. She is not thinking about some of his special honey, although that would be nice. She is not thinking about singing and playing guitars with him although she loves doing that. She is not even thinking about a day out on their skateboards.

What Princess Kitty is thinking about is porridge. Growly Bear's special porridge. The special porridge he made for her once when she was poorly. The special porridge he makes to a secret magic recipe he made up himself.

Growly Bear says his porridge is the best ever. Princess Kitty agrees.

Bear In Clover

Oh dear! Princess Kitty thinks she may have accidently done some bad magic and put a spell on Growly Bear. A spell that brings him bad luck.

Bad things have been happening to Growly Bear for a few days. He has just had an unexpectedly large bill for the repairs to his little Skoda. Then someone ran into the car he had borrowed and damaged it. To top it all when he went to get is tea from the freezer at work because he has to work late someone had switched it off and spoiled the food. Poor Growly Bear. It is hard to believe there is a point to guinea pigs at such times. And he had to spend an afternoon with that wicked witch Fatty Flatfoot.

Growly Bear gave Princess Kitty a "Grow Your Own Four Leaf Clover" kit for Christmas. He said it was like growing her own luck. Princess Kitty thought this was a lovely present. She thought it was very clever of Growly Bear to think of it.

Princess Kitty is not well known for being able to grow things, even when she uses magic. Her magic seems to work better outside. She made a beautiful garden before she left her big house. But things always seem to go wrong when she tries to grow things inside.

Princess Kitty decided things would be different this time. She planted up her four leaf clover straight away. It started to grow really quickly. And grew. And grew. And grew. Now it is as tall as her. She wonders if she is confused and that clover maybe grows on trees. She knows it doesn't really.

Anyway, Princess Kitty thinks because she has misgrown her clover that maybe it has brought bad luck to Growly Bear. Poor Growly Bear. She wonders what she can do to make amends. She has an idea. She smiles ...........

Girl With A One Track Mind

Princess Kitty has been reading some blogs. She has found some interesting ones. She especially likes one called "Girl With A One Track Mind". She has been interested to read about the writers experiences when her identity became public.

Princess Kitty wonders what it would be like to have your private life exposed in that way. She ponders about whether writing about private thoughts on the internet means the writer agrees to have it used in any way anyone chooses. She wonders if maybe there is such a thing as private/public. A sort of public where strict rules of conduct apply based on respect for people's dignity, and where you do as you would want to be done too.

Princess Kitty is sad that people are unkind to one another. Growly Bear is never unkind. That is one of the reasons Princess Kitty loves him so much.

Princess Kitty knows that you have to be kind to understand the point of guinea pigs. She also thinks it might be part of the point of them.

Walk This Way

Princess Kitty has been thinking about Growly Bear's bottom. She likes that it is round and furry. Like a little furry guinea pig. She likes that he wiggles it a bit when he walks. Growly Bear says he walks this way because he has a bad hip which he got being a war hero.

Princess Kitty is very proud that Growly Bear is a war hero. She knows that he is very brave. But she thinks he walks that way because he wants to look sexy.

Growly Bear thinks Princess Kitty has a funny walk. He says she walks as if she has cloven feet. Princess Kitty doesn't mind. She remembers that unicorns have cloven feet and they are the most beautiful creature ever.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty often tease each other about things. They tease each other about singing. Princess Kitty says Growly Bear needs to get in touch with the choirboy in himself. Growly Bear says Princess Kitty wants to be Julie Andrews in the Hounds of Munich. He says he has heard her yodel and thinks she would do it very well.

Princess Kitty always gives Growly Bear a dap with her paw when he says this. She thinks he is very cheeky. Though not half as cheeky as he would look in a pair of lederhosen . . . . . . . . .

Cold Shower

Princess Kitty has been telling stories today. She has been telling stories to Growly Bear. She has been telling him some sexy stories. Growly Bear got very excited. Very excited indeed.

Princess Kitty likes this new trick. She likes being able to get Growly Bear's attention and teasing him.

Growly Bear likes Princess Kitty telling him stories. He thinks she is a good story teller. He thinks she could tell some good stories about guinea pigs. He decides he should have a nice shower after listening to the ones today. He thinks perhaps he will make it quite a cool one.

Growly Bear tells Princess Kitty that he is looking forward to her trying some of the ideas out. Princess Kitty thinks she might. She will be sure to add some new ones though so that Growly Bear doesn't know quite what to expect . . . .

Recipe for Success

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have both been cooking. They have not been cooking together though. Princess Kitty has been cooking a meal for a friend. She cooked cauliflower and broccoli in a cheese sauce, which she made herself. She cooked some sugar snap peas to go with it but best of all she made some special caramelised sweet potatoes. She made it to Growly Bear's secret recipe. She is the only other living creature in the world that knows it.

Growly Bear has been cooking a meal for friends too. He made pasta and tiramisu. Growly Bear says his tiramisu is legendary. He made it for Princess Kitty once. When he made it for Princess Kitty he forgot to buy cake. So he used some bread instead. Princess Kitty thought the little seeds gave it an interesting texture.

Princess Kitty is not sure what cooking has to do with the point of guinea pigs. Growly Bear says it is definitely part of it. Princess Kitty remains to be convinced.

Star Struck Bear

Growly Bear is outraged. That witch Fatty Flatfoot has come up with one of her most ridiculous schemes yet. She wants the whole empire to gather together for a picnic then go to church. Growly Bear thinks it is such a bizarre idea there must be a plot afoot. Some bad magic she is planning. It certainly does not seem to have anything to do with guinea pigs. He is very suspicions and determined to do all he can not to attend. It is tricky though. He does not want to draw attention to himself. That is never wise in the Fatty Flatfoot empire.

Princess Kitty agrees it is a strange thing to do. She knows it might be difficult for Growly Bear to resist going though, especially if Fatty Flatfoot casts a summoning spell. Princess Kitty will keep an eye on the situation and weave some spells of her own to protect Growly Bear if she has to.

Princess Kitty has more to worry about with regard to Growly Bear at the moment though. He has confessed to her that he is watching Celebrity Big Brother. Princess Kitty is very disappointed. She has had her own brushes with celebrities. She once kissed Leo Sayer and another time she tugged on Frank Bruno's sleeve and got his autograph. But she is horrified that Growly Bear has been drawn into watching CBB. She wonders what he might get up to next. Perhaps she will find him reading tabloid newspapers and shopping at Lidls. She hopes not.

The Bear and The Wood and The Trees

It' s official. Growly Bear is clever. Very clever indeed. A researcher who has been researching for 22 years has found out that there is a link between cleverness and hairiness. He is very pleased. He is feeling very proud. Now everyone will know how clever he is.

Princess Kitty heard about this research too. She thinks of Growly Bear. She thinks of how furry he is. She thinks maybe the research is true. She wonders about someone who would spend 22 years studying such a thing. She thinks maybe he became very hairy because he was so busy researching. As hairy as the hairiest guinea pig. She wonder what research Growly Bear did in the past to get so hairy. Perhaps it was when he was researching how to make honey.

Princess Kitty asked Growly Bear whether he thought the research was true. Growly Bear starting talking about bears that poo in the woods. Princess Kitty thought this was a strange thing to talk about. She didn't say so though. She thought perhaps it was a little eccentricity. She thinks clever researchers are probably allowed to be a little eccentric.

By The Light Of The Moon

Princess Kitty has been out running. Out running in the dark. She went with some friends by the light of the moon and a little torch. It was a full moon. She always likes to run on the full moon. Afterwards she played some tricks on her friends and made them drink beer.

Growly Bear has not had time to go running. Not that he would want to. Growly Bear does not like doing anything that makes him out of breath or break out in a sweat except for making honey. Growly Bear has been working - again. He feels as if his life is a long cycle of working and driving. He certainly can't see the point of guinea pigs at such times. Poor Growly Bear.

And Growly Bear is feeling a bit sad. His boy cub has gone off to America for two months. He is recording an album with his band. Growly Bear is very pleased for him but he knows that he will miss him. Growly Bear loves his boy cub. He is very talented and he makes Growly Bear laugh.

Sometimes Growly Bear's boy cub plays tricks on Growly Bear. He mimics Growly Bear. Princess Kitty thinks she would like to see this. She thinks it will make her laugh.

Princess Kitty looks up at the full moon. She wonders if Growly Bear gets any furrier at this time of the month...............................

A Bad Word

Growly Bear has had a day of slavery. A day of slavery serving the Fatty Flatfoot empire. Poor Growly Bear. He texted Princess Kitty to tell her about it when she asked what he was doing. His text said "Trying to penetrate the depths of IT bullshit my job now entails. Oh ... and supporting the whole of the empire .... learning to play the flute and ridding the world of all known diseases".

Poor Growly Bear thought Princess Kitty. No wonder he doesn't have time to think about guinea pigs. He must be upset to use a bad word. Usually he just says 'heavens' as his worst word.

Princess Kitty has spent the day at work. She is very important so she has been doing important things. She has been reading important papers. She has been sending important emails. She has been using her little dictaphone.

Princess Kitty thinks about poor Growly Bear. Life is hard for him sometimes. He has a lot on his plate as her mummy would say.

Lucky for Growly Bear he has Princess Kitty to love him.

Simply Perfect

Princess Kitty has had another amazing day. Lucky Princess Kitty. She went to visit her step girl kitten and her new grandkitten. She went with her girl kitten. Her little girl grandkitten is perfect. A beautiful bundle of loveliness. Anyone looking at her would know the point of guinea pigs in an instant.

And Princess Kitty loved seeing her boy grandkitten and step girl kitten. She has not seen them since she left her big house. It has been a difficult time for all of them. Princess Kitty loves them very much.

Growly Bear has had a gentle day. It had to be gentle because he was feeling a little delicate. He was a bear with a sore head. Growly Bear thinks he perhaps drank a little too much of that wine with the bubbles in.

Growly Bear has been thinking about his life. He faces some difficult times. He knows though that Princess Kitty will be there to love and support him. He knows she will always be there for him and that he can depend upon her. He thinks that is simply perfect.
