That Special Feeling

Princess Kitty has been thinking about her new home today. She went to visit the people who live there now. They have a baby. The baby is very sweet.

Princess Kitty thinks it will be nice to live in a house that such a sweet baby has lived in. She thinks it helps the house have its special feeling. The feeling that guinea pigs can bring. A feeling of love and nurturing.

Everyone told Princess Kitty that she would know when she saw the right new home. Princess Kitty knows this is going to be a good home. She knows she is going to be happy there.

Princess Kitty thinks about what it will be like to live in the house. She thinks about what it will be like to have Growly Bear there. She thinks this will help the special feeling too.

Schmoozy Bear

Growly Bear thinks he is a pretty cool dresser.

Mostly Growly Bear wears black clothes. He wears sexy little black pants with a sparkly heart on the back. He wears a little black vest. He wear black trousers and a black shirt. And he wears little black flip flops. Even in the winter. Sometimes he even wears a black ribbon although his ribbon is usually red.

Growly Bear says it is important to be comfortable. He says it is important to feel schmoozy. When he is staying at The Cardigan he has a special schmoozing outfit. He wears a little black kaftan. Growly Bear says this is a very cool and schmoozy thing to do.

Princess Kitty likes it when Growly Bear wears his kaftan. She likes the way it comes over his little round tummy. She likes it that there are slits under the arms where she can poke her paws in to stroke Growly Bear.

Growly Bear loves being stroked and fussed. He likes being stroked gently. He likes being scratched. He likes being rubbed. Maybe being stroked is the point of guinea pigs.

Growly Bear can be schmoozy at any time of day. He can be schmoozy when he first wakes up in the morning. He can be schmoozy all morning if he doesn't have to go to work. He can be schmoozy in the afternoon watching football or playing music. And he can be schmoozy in the evenings, especially when he is with Princess Kitty.

That is one schmoozy little bear.

To Be Sure

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty know that sometimes in life things are uncertain. You never know what is around the next corner. It could be something really nice. A nice surprise. It could be something really horrible. A tragedy or something that makes you angry. The point of guinea pigs is certainly not certain.

But there are some things in life you can be sure of. Growly Bear is sure that Princess Kitty loves him. And he is right. Princess Kitty is sure that Growly Bear loves her. And he is right.

Tonight Growly Bear is coming to stay at The Cardigan. He is staying for the night.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear can be sure of lots of kisses. They can be sure of lots of cuddles. And they can be sure of some delicious honey.

The Sound Of Silence

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have not had much time to talk to each other today. They have not had time to ponder the point of guinea pigs. They have both been busy at work.

Growly Bear is in his cave this evening. He is watching football. He is not having a very happy time. His team is not playing very well.

Princess Kitty is in The Cardigan. She is not watching the football. She is thinking. She is thinking about days like today when she and Growly Bear don't talk much. She thinks about how they have got used to being without each other even though it makes them sad. She wonders what life would be like if they spent more time together.

Maybe one day soon she will find out.

A Little Bit Of What You Fancy

Growly Bear says a little bit of what you fancy does you good. He says understanding this will help explain the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty thinks it is a shame that things that are good for you are not always the things you fancy a bit of. She thinks it is a shame that the things you fancy a lot of do not necessarily do you good.

Growly Bear says it is important that Princess Kitty eats things that are good for her. The things Princess Kitty likes to eat are not the things that are good for her. Like potato wedges and sweets and cakes. Growly Bear says Princess Kitty needs to make sure that she has some green things on her plate. He says it is OK to have a few things that are not so good for you as long as you eat lots of green things too.

Princess Kitty thinks that if only chocolate was green everyone would be happy.

Hurray!

Growly Bear is a happy bear. His little Skoda passed its MOT today. Hurray!

Princess Kitty is happy too. She had a very big important meeting today. She was very pleased with how the meeting went. Hurray!

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear chatted when they were driving home. Growly Bear chatted on his little Nokia. Princess Kitty chatted on her little Samsung. They were both cheerful. They talked about their day. They talked about the sun shining. They agreed that the point of guinea pigs is probably a good thing. Hurray!

And Growly Bear and Princess Kitty are going to see each other again on Thursday. Hurray!

There Once Was An Ugly Duckling

Growly Bear has been very busy. He has been cleaning his little Skoda. Inside and out. It's a big day for that little machine tomorrow. MOT!

Princess Kitty has been busy too. Working. Practising her singing and her guitar playing. And tonight she has been out with Chuckles and his sons and daughter.

Growly Bear watched television this evening. He texted Princess Kitty to tell her it had made him think about the point of guinea pigs. It has given him ideas about it. He will tell Princess Kitty next time he talks to her.

Princess Kitty has had a thoughtful evening too. She decided she would wear her new flat shoes out. She was sure it would be OK. But when she put them on she didn't feel right. She didn't feel right at all.

It made her think about when she was a kitten. She wasn't a very cute kitten. In fact she was more like a duckling. An ugly duckling. Since she has been grown up she has tried to cover the ugly duckling up. But every now and then she catches sight of it.

So Princess Kitty put her boots on instead. No-one will mess with her now.

Mixed Fortunes

Growly Bear has had a mixed day.

He is feeling very happy because at last he has got his Broadband working. He is very excited. Now he can download his favourite music. Now he can research the point of guinea pigs. Now he can watch videos on YouTube.

He is feeling fed up too. He has been watching football this evening. England was playing against Israel. Growly Bear supports England.

Growly Bear shouted a lot while the football was on. He shouted at the referee. He shouted at the players. He shouted at the television. But none of it helped. England did not score any goals.

Growly Bear text Princess Kitty. He told her there had been no shape in the first half and Israel got 11 men behind the ball in the second half.

Princess Kitty wondered who they left in goal.

Is Flat Good Or Bad?

Princess Kitty had their last day together today before Growly Bear had to go home. They spent the morning making delicious honey and talking about the point of guinea pigs. Then they went to put some new tyres and exhaust on Growly Bear's car. Then Growly Bear took Princess Kitty shopping. Shopping for shoes.

Princess Kitty likes to wear shoes that have a heel. She likes to hear them clip clopping as she walks along, Growly Bear thinks needs to get some flat shoes. He says the shoes she usually wears are wearing her paws out. He says she has cloven hooves.

Princess Kitty is not really sure about flat shoes. Some of them are quite pretty. But Princess Kitty is not sure if they will suit her. And she is not sure they will go clip clop. Growly Bear says flat shoes are the best.

Growly Bear has gone home how. He rang Princess Kitty on his little Nokia. He told her he is feeling as flat as the flattest pair of shoes. The Cardigan feels flat too now Growly Bear has gone.

Maybe flat is not always best Growly Bear.

Love Spoons

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have been cuddling up. They cuddle up in lots of different ways. Sometimes they cuddle standing up. Sometimes they cuddle sitting down. Sometimes they cuddle lying down, snuggling up like a couple of little guinea pigs.

When they do standing up cuddling Princess Kitty likes to nuzzle into Growly Bear's neck. Growly Bear likes to put his arms around Princess Kitty. Sometimes he pinches her bottom. Cheeky little bear.

When they do sitting down cuddling Growly Bear puts his arm around Princess Kitty's shoulder in a manly way. If they are facing each other they like to rub noses and kiss.

When they do lying down cuddling they have lots of favourite ways. They like to lie side by side with Princess Kitty lying her head on Growly Bear's shoulder. They like to face each other and rub noses again and kiss again. But best of all is when they settle down to go to sleep and Growly Bear wraps himself around Princess Kitty from behind. Princess Kitty loves to feel Growly Bear's little warm tummy against her. This sort of cuddling reminds her of a love spoon she once bought for Growly Bear.

Sometimes life is just wonderful.
