Preparing For The Lion's Den

Growly Bear is preparing. Preparing to do battle with Fatty Flatfoot.

He has to go to a meeting tomorrow. A meeting with the wicked witch Fatty Flatfoot. There will be other people there which should help keep him safe. And he is practising a spell to surprise Fatty Flatfoot. A spell about birdsong. A spell that needs someone who understands the point of guinea pigs to weave it.

Growly Bear wonders if Suma will be there. If she is there he will have to keep his guard up. It will be hard to keep a spell on Fatty Flatfoot without Suma seeing. And then Growly Bear would be in danger. Poor little bear.

Princess Kitty is making magic too. She is making a special spell to keep Growly Bear safe. Her magic is getting stronger all the time. She will protect Growly Bear. Lucky little bear.

Keep Your Ribbon Straight Growly Bear

Shock horror. Growly Bear has been attacked. Fatty Flatfoot's witchdoctor Suma tried to steal his soul.

Suma has not been seen around for a while in Fatty Flatfoot's empire. Suddenly today she appeared.

Growly Bear bumped into her. He just had time to register who she was when she came over. She smiled a pretty smile. She said hello in a sweet voice. She was enchanting. She had Growly Bear under her spell. Just for a moment.

As she held him with her spell she reached out and touched him. She touched him on his arm. He felt a burning sensation. He felt sick with the pain.

The pain made him wake up. He realised what was happening. He started to think about a countercurse. He started to say it in his head. He reminded himself of her duplicity. He reminded himself of what she did to Princess Kitty. He reminded himself what she does to guinea pigs. She is dangerous.

The countercurse was very good. It was very clever. And Growly Bear added an extra trick. He didn't show that he was doing it. He smiled a sweet smile. His trick made the spell much more powerful. At least ten times more powerful.

Suma was beaten. Her spell bounced back. Not before it had burned Growly Bear. But before she could pentrate to grab his soul. Growly Bear walked away. His head was held high and his ribbon was straight.

Secrets

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear have been talking about secrets today. They talked about whether it is important to have secrets. Princess Kitty thinks some secrets are bad. She understands that you have to have private bits of you though. Growly Bear agrees.

The point of guinea pigs is a secret. It is a secret that Princess Kitty and Growly Bear want to find out more about though. They think it is probably a good secret.

One thing they are sure about is that the point of guinea pigs is not to make pies out of. Not like that bad witch Fatty Flatfoot. She has lots of secrets. Lots of bad secrets.

Princess Kitty had secrets when she worked for Fatty Flatfoot. She kept secret some of the bad things that Fatty Flatfoot did. She kept secret the bad things that Suma did too. She kept secret the bad things that Fatty Flatfoot did to her. Growly Bear did not know anything about it until Princess Kitty told him after he escaped. She kept her secrets because she was frightened. She also kept her secrets because she thought it was best for others.

Perhaps the important thing about secrets is that they should always be good.

An Element Of Surprise

Princess Kitty is planning a surprise. A surprise for Growly Bear. She is very excited. She loves surprising Growly Bear and playing tricks on him.

Princess Kitty thinks about surprises. Sometimes surprises are horrible. They are horrible when something nasty happens to you that you are not expecting. Like the time when Fatty Flatfoot told her she was no good and would never understand the point of guinea pigs. Like the time when Fatty Flatfoot and her witch doctor Suma ganged up on her and told everyone she was troublesome and the cause of lots of problems. They were bad surprises. Princess Kitty does not like bad surprises.

Sometimes surprises are good though. Like when she had her girl kitten which she thought would be a boy. Like finding out how wonderful Growly Bear is and how well he can make honey. Princess Kitty loves nice surprises like this.

Princess Kitty thinks how dull life would be without surprises. She decides that overall it is probably better to have some bad ones if it means you get good ones too.

The Importance Of Cuddles

Every guinea pig knows the importance of cuddles. Growly Bear and Princess Kitty understand too.

Growly Bear likes cuddling Princess Kitty. He likes it because it makes him feel loved and part of something. He likes it because he sometimes has naughty thoughts when he is doing it. He likes cuddling Princess Kitty because he thinks she is sexy.

Princess Kitty likes cuddling Growly Bear. She likes snuggling into his furriness. She likes the feel of his little round tummy against hers.

They both like cuddles because they make them feel safe. They like to cuddle after they have made honey. They like to cuddle when they are telling each other scary stories about Fatty Flatfoot and the witchdoctor Suma.

Tonight is a scary night. It is Halloween. There is lots of magic about in the world. Princess Kitty and Growly Bear know that cuddles are a good counter spell to bad magic. They know that sometimes they have to find a way to cuddle eachother even when they are apart.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty are agreed. Cuddles are important.

Bear Necessities

Growly Bear has been feeling a bit fed up. Life is tough in the Fatty Flatfoot empire. Everyone wants a piece of him, he has too much work to do and he can't get on with the things he knows are really important.

Work has not been the same since he found out what that witch Fatty Flatfoot did to poor Princess Kitty when she was in her power. Her and that dreadful witchdoctor Suma. Even now he can hardly believe it. Yet he has to carry on as if all is well and pretend that he enjoys being one of her slaves. If she ever finds out about his love for Princess Kitty......

Growly Bear has been daydreaming about Princess Kitty today - her loving licks, her soft purr and her very cute tail. He wondered what she was doing. He thought about how nice it would be to be tucked up in The Cardigan with her, eating a bit of honey and watching her practice her spells. They might even get onto the subject of guinea pigs.

Growly Bear sighed. Being loved by Princess Kitty is not just a pleasure for him - it is a necessity.
