Heart To Heart

Growly Bear came to visit Princess Kitty at The Beehive today.

Princess Kitty decided it was time that she and Growly Bear had a heart to heart. She decided it was time to help Growly Bear move on from being stuck. And she decided that it was time she tried to find a way of not feeling so lost.

Princess Kitty told Growly Bear what she was thinking and feeling. She said she thought they should not see or talk to each other for a little while so that Growly Bear could really think about the point of guinea pigs.

Growly Bear looked a bit upset. But then he said he would think about what Princess Kitty had said.

They agreed they would meet again once more soon.

Difficult times for a little cat and a little bear.

Special Friends

Princess Kitty had a nice evening after all last night. As she always does with her friend Chuckles. They laughed and shared their sadnesses. They spent time with Princess Kitty's new neighbour and sang and talked and drank wine.

This morning Princess Kitty went into town with Chuckles. They went shopping. They brought nice things to eat for when Princess Kitty's daughter came for lunch. And in the evening two of Princess Kitty's other special friends came for dinner.

Lucky Princess Kitty to have such special friends.

Growly Bear was thinking about Princess Kitty today. He was glad that she was having a nice time with her friends. Growly Bear knows friends are important too. You have to know that to understand the point of Guinea Pigs.

Putting On A Brave Face

Princess Kitty is feeling weary. She has not been sleeping very well and she feels sad inside.

Growly Bear has not been sleeping well either. He is weary too. He went to bed last night with a headache and he woke up with another this morning. But Growly Bear just kept going as Growly Bear does. And eventually his headache went.

Princess Kitty is feeling sad inside because she feels lost. She is happy to be at The Beehive and she loves her new home very much. Very much indeed. But she feels as if part of her is missing. And although she tries her best she is finding it harder and harder to understand the point of guinea pigs.

Princess Kitty has her friend Chuckles coming over for the evening. She is cooking a meal for him tonight. She knows she will have to be brave and put a smile on her face. But inside she will still be crying.

Growly Bear is on his way back to his cave. He has his girl cub coming for tea so he is going to cook for her. He will be putting on a brave face to get through his evening.

Getting On With It

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have both been hard at work today.

Growly Bear has had his little wet nose pushed against the grindstone of Fatty Flatfoot slavery. Princess Kitty has had her first day back after a few days off to move house.

Growly Bear and Princess Kitty have both been dealing with problems today. Other people's problems. They have been trying to help other people get along but it is not always easy. Not easy at all.

Princess Kitty wonders if some people forget why they go to work. She thinks that they forget they are there to help other people. She gets cross when they spend time making problems rather than just getting on with their jobs

Growly Bear feels the same way. He knows that when groups of people get together there are bound to be problems sometimes. Like when you get a group of guinea pigs together. But like Princess Kitty he wishes they would just do what they are supposed to.

Princess Kitty and Growly Bear are tired now after their busy days. Growly Bear is at his cave. Princess Kitty is in The Beehive. They are going to talk later on MSN. Then they will each go off to their little beds to sleep. Ready for another busy day tomorrow.

Its A Hard Knock Life

Growly Bear has been visiting The Beehive today.

He came in a different car today. He brought Princess Kitty a table and chairs for The Beehive.

Growly Bear does not like driving the different car. He says it is like driving a truck. Princess Kitty thinks it is nice of him to go to so much trouble. Kind Growly Bear.

Growly Bear could not stay long as he had to go to work. He and Princess Kitty made some wonderful honey then Princess Kitty made them a nice lunch.

After Growly Bear had gone Princess Kitty had a snooze. When she woke up she could feel the sadness of Growly Bear leaving. She could feel how much she missed him.

Princess Kitty finds it hard to carry around such a heavy heart sometimes. She tells herself that finding a way to cope with sad feelings is part of understanding the point of guinea pigs. She reminds herself that Growly Bear has to deal with sad feelings too.

Sometimes it is hard to be a bear and a cat.

Wakey Wakey Princess Kitty

Princess Kitty has been doing some more painting today. She has been making The Beehive nice because Growly Bear is coming to visit tomorrow.

Growly Bear says his head is like putty. Princess Kitty wonders if it is really soft inside. She wonders if it really has that nice smell like real putty.

Princess Kitty is quite tired this evening. She has worked hard. And she has not been sleeping very well. Not because she has been worrying, although she is worried about Growly Bear. Not because there is lots of noise, because The Beehive is very quiet. Not because she has been wondering about the point of guinea pigs, although she does think about that quite often.

No Princess Kitty is tired because Daisy the Cat has been keeping her awake.

Daisy the Cat likes cuddles. She likes them a lot. She creeps into Princess Kitty's bed and snuggles up to her. She wants Princess Kitty to play with her, even when Princess Kitty is asleep.

Princess Kitty is going to teach Daisy the Cat to use a special little door. Then she can go out to play with some other Cats. Maybe then Princess Kitty will get a good night's sleep.

Diving In

Growly Bear has been working in the Fatty Flatfoot empire today.

On the way home he chatted to Princess Kitty on his little Nokia. He told her that today had been slavery at its worst. He told her that on days such as today it was hard to see the point of guinea pigs.

And being a slave in Fatty Flatfoot's empire is not the only problem Growly Bear has. He is unhappy. Unhappy inside.

He wants to be with Princess Kitty. He wants to go and live with her at The Beehive. But he lives with another bear who relies on him. He doesn't want to make her sad. And he doesn't think other bears in his life will understand about his love for Princess Kitty. He thinks they will be cross with him. Poor Growly Bear.

Princess Kitty feels sad for Growly Bear. She understands that it is hard for him. She understands that he is scared. Like when you are on the top diving board at the swimming pool. You want to jump but you just can't.

Princess Kitty doesn't know how Growly Bear is going to get over his problem. She doesn't know how he will find the courage to jump. Maybe he will just have to close his eyes, step over the edge and trust he will land safely.

The Beehive

Princess Kitty has had another busy day. She has painted her kitchen window. She has done some gardening. And she has been getting to know her new neighbours.

Growly Bear is back at his cave. He has been mowing lawns and shopping.

Growly Bear has been missing Princess Kitty and Princess Kitty has been missing Growly Bear. Growly Bear wants to see all the things Princess Kitty has done at her new home. And he wants to meet Daisy the Cat.

Princess Kitty has been thinking about her new home. She wants a name for it. A name that only she and Growly Bear know. A name that will help explain the point of guinea pigs. A name that will make Growly Bear want to come and stay.

Then Princess Kitty had an idea. She is going to call her new home something that reminds her and Growly Bear about making their special honey. A home that will remind them of the busy things she has been doing.

Princess Kitty is going to call her new home The Beehive.

Daisy The Cat

Growly Bear has been to a show. Not the sort of show where people perform. Not a circus either.
A show where you can buy things.

Growly Bear was looking for some slippers. He wants some special slippers to wear in Princess Kitty's new home. She is going to get some new carpets. Growly Bear does not want to make Princess Kitty cross with him. He is a little bit scared of making her cross. He thinks about it sometimes. In his awake dreams. He would like her to be strict with him and a little bit cross. But not very cross.

Princess Kitty has had a nice day too. Her mummy and daddy came to see her new house. They liked it. Then Princess Kitty's girl kitten came to see it. She liked it too. She brought Daisy the Cat with her .

Daisy the Cat was frightened. She did not know where she was. She hid behind the settee.

Princess Kitty gave Daisy the Cat lots of cuddles. She took her to bed with her so that she would not be scared. She talked to her about the point of guinea pigs. She told her all about Growly Bear.

Daisy the Cat sniffed around the bedroom. Then she snuggled up next to Princess Kitty and they went to sleep. Growly Bear lay awake a little bit longer and had some more dreams.

Merry Christmas Princess Kitty

Growly Bear left Princess Kitty's new home today. He is going to see his mummy.

Princess Kitty kept herself busy so that she would not miss Growly Bear too much. She went running with some of her friends. They had a Christmas Party afterwards. Father Christmas came and brought them all presents.

When Princess Kitty told Growly Bear about the Christmas Party he shook his head. He thinks Princess Kitty and her friends are a little strange. He likes to think of Princess Kitty enjoying herself though. He wonders what Father Christmas brought her. He wonders if it will help her understand the point of guinea pigs.

When it was time for Princess Kitty to go to bed she was tired. She curled up in her little bed and closed her eyes. She thought about Growly Bear. The next thing she knew she was in the land of dreams with him.
